1. Ice skating at Bai Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square
Grab your friends! It’s time to lace up and enjoy this quintessential winter activity at the Bai Holiday Ice Rink in DTLA! Whether venturing out on a sunny afternoon or gliding under the evening moon during a DJ skate night, our favorite ice rink is open now through January 20th, 2020 in Pershing Square!
2. Holiday market hop!
What better way to get inspired for holiday decorating and tick off gifts from your list than a holiday market?
On December 7th, from 10AM to 6PM, visit the Union Station Holiday Festival and Market for everything from home goods to fine woodwork from over 40+ vendors. Then, hop over on Sunday to the ROW DTLA in the Arts District for the Brooklyn-inspired Smorgaburg LA. Unleash your inner foodie (Instagram Stories are encouraged, make sure to tag @SmorgasburgLA) and experience 70+ food and shopping vendors every Sunday from 10AM to 4PM! Did we mention it’s free entry?
3. The Broad date night
Inspiration can strike anywhere! With works from Jean-Michel Basquiat, Barbara Kruger, and Andy Warhol, a visit to The Broad museum is the perfect afternoon or date night idea during the winter months here in DTLA.
On now until Jan. 1st 2020, Yayoi Kusama’s highly anticipated Mirror Rooms are available to experience at no additional charge (however a short queue is to be expected). Pair it with a trip to the Grand Central Market for a delicious lunch, and if you time it right you can visit Artists & Fleas Holiday Market featuring cute holiday pop ups of artisanal goods on the weekends of Dec. 14 - 15 and 21 - 22 from 11AM to 6PM.
4. Festive flicks at Rooftop Cinema Club
It’s simply not the holidays without a festive movie or two! Catch a winter-themed flick at Rooftop Cinema Club and indulge in holiday themed drinks, comfy snow suits and blankets, all while taking in the views from the rooftop at fellow ONNI property LEVEL DTLA. Fulfill your snow-envy with classics such as The Holiday, Elf, Home Alone, Gremlins, A Christmas Story and more!
5. Holiday Sing-alongs at the LA Phil
“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!” Although in DTLA we’re expecting a snow-less season, this winter we plan to feel the magic of the holidays with a classic performance at the LA Philharmonic. With two performances of the 1954 Bing Crosby classic White Christmas planned, experience a sing-along special in one of the most awe-inspiring buildings, The Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by architect Frank Gehry.
